The six-part solo route

Remember the route in six pieces: Prologue — Escape From Smith’s Grove; Chapter 1 — The Road to Haddonfield; Chapter 2 — Main Street; Chapter 3 — Returning Home; Chapter 4 — The Babysitters; Chapter 5 — Into the Shadows. On a first clear, follow the HUD objective and get through the route before chasing every optional challenge.

Save challenges and collectibles for the second run

Chapters are replayable, and challenges and collectibles are designed to bring you back. A first clear gives you a better feel for the map and abilities; returning only to the chapter with a missing objective is easier than forcing a 100% run everywhere at once.

Chapter-by-chapter progression

1. Prologue: Learn stealth, environmental approaches and the goal for leaving Smith’s Grove.
2. Chapter 1: Follow The Road to Haddonfield, prioritize the main objective and note optional chase opportunities.
3. Chapter 2: Main Street adds more buildings and objectives; follow the HUD toward the cemetery sequence.
4. Chapter 3: In Returning Home, finish the required Myers house sequence before optional neighborhood objectives.
5. Chapter 4: Use the Wallace House event chain in The Babysitters as your anchor, and wait for the scripted objective to update before moving on.
6. Chapter 5: Into the Shadows brings police pressure and an exit search. After one clear, replay this chapter to explore other publicly described exits.
7. If you get lost, check whether the required objective changed before crossing the neighborhood or entering another house.
