Confirmed cross-platform support

The clearest statement is on the official Xbox product page: Halloween: The Game lists cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform co-op, with an online range of 2–5 players. That fits the 1v4 structure: one Michael against up to four Heroes or Civilians.

Confirmed versus unconfirmed online scope

Cross-platform support confirms the listed multiplayer capability. It does not automatically confirm cross-progression, cross-store purchases, a shared friend code or access in every region. Current first-party material does not confirm Game Pass, cross-progression or the exact matchmaking settings.

Pre-party checklist

  1. Ask every teammate to confirm they are using the formal PC, PS5 or Xbox Series X|S release.
  2. Check your own platform page for online-subscription, account and age requirements.
  3. Use the current in-game crossplay setting and invite flow instead of copying an old test screenshot.
  4. If a region or version conflict appears, record the platform, region and version before contacting official support.
